When you live in Belgium, you can cancel your multiannual insurance every year, at least three months before the end of each insurance year. To cancel your insurance, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating that you want to cancel the rest of the maximum insurance term. In this email, make sure to also state your name, address, and policy number as stated on your policy schedule. We will refund you the rest of the insurance premium on a pro rata basis. For example, if you cancel your 2-year insurance within 9 months, you'll be refunded half of the insurance premium paid.
Insurances in Belgium have the maximum term stated on your policy schedule and won't be automatically renewed until it's canceled by either you or us. The insurance will have the duration we've agreed upon with you, unless you decide you want to cancel the insurance sooner. You can cancel your insurance free of charge within the first 30 days. Call our customer service to get that sorted. We'll refund the premium you've already paid on the one condition that you haven't made already submitted a claim in this period.
If you return your product within 30 days, we'll refund the premium you've already paid for the insurance. This only applies if you haven't submitted a claim in this period. We'll settle the cancellation with the insurance company for you.
