D-Link DHP-701AV No WiFi 2,000Mbps 2 adapters

Pros and cons

According to our powerline adapter expert
  • Pros:
With a speed of 2,000Mbps, the powerlines are suitable for the most demanding network tasks, such as streaming 4K movies and online gaming.
  • Pros:
Use less energy thanks to the automatic energy-saving mode.
  • Con:
No integrated WiFi to wirelessly connect a device to your network.
  • Con:
The adapters don't work when they're connected to two different branch circuits.
  • Con:
Powerline adapters don't work properly in a power strip, so always plug them directly into a socket.

With the D-Link DHP-701, you can turn any socket in your home into a network connector. The adapters have a maximum speed of 2,000Mbps, so they can easily handle even the most demanding network tasks, such as streaming 4K movies or online gaming. The internet is routed via your home's electrical system, so you won't need any long network cables anymore. That's useful if you want to connect a TV or another network device to the internet in the attic, or just at the other end of your living room.

Note: you have to connect the powerline adapters to the same power phase in the house. If you don't do this, the powerline adapter won't work properly.
