You can use the Sonos Beam to select the sound reproduction for your movies, series, or music tracks. The soundbar has a standard mode, night mode, and a speech amplification mode. In night mode, the bass sound is automatically reduced, so sleeping family members won't be woken up by the sound. The voice enhancement mode boosts conversations, improving stand-up shows, talk shows, and series. Stream music directly via Airplay 2, Google Chromecast, SonosNet, or Spotify Connect via WiFi and connect your smartphone or tablet with the speaker. Connect the Beam to other Sonos speakers for a home cinema or multi-room setup. Easily control all of the speakers via the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet.
Note: An option for voice control will be added in a future software update. This function doesn't work yet, and it's not yet known when the update will be available. One thing is certain: with this speaker, you're ready for the future.
Note: Sonos products don't work with the 5GHz network, so you should always make sure your WiFi is installed on the 2.4GHz network before buying a Sonos product.
Connecting the Sonos Beam to your TV
Use the included HDMI ARC cable or the included optical cable to connect your soundbar to your television. Note that your TV must have an HDMI ARC or optical connector to be able to use the Beam.
