You use a steam cooker to simply steam your fish, meat, vegetables, potatoes. Usually a steam cooker consists of several stackable dishes on which you put different foods. The ingredients do not come into contact with boiling water, as a result of which the cooking takes place only through the hot steam. Vitamins, minerals and aromas are thus better preserved. In addition, you cook with little fat. Cooking in a steam cooker is particularly easy, healthy and tasty. Other types of pans that you use to steam are often called a steam cooker.
