We moved to a new house and this was a perfect upgrade in terms of new age electronics . The advantage of a single cable connecting to a connection box hides away all the mess having other accessories connected to your TV like Apple TV ( dont need it any more because you have all the apps on the New Q7 itself ) , home theatre / audio system , cable network and internet/ Home system (if you have any like Amazon Dot). The single Remote function took away three remotes which we had before ( one for TV , Home theatre and Apple TV ). I was stunned at how much time it took for setting up the TV - It was less than 10 Minutes!.Now , Talking about the picture quality .. If you havent seen 4K HD you are bound to be blown away just like the way I did at first . 65Inch TV looked a bit big at first .. but now it doesnt feel like you are watching TV .. but feels like you are looking into a window and watching a scene thats hapenning in reality. This is even better with the Ambient mode". When you arent using it as a TV , It can become a beautiful Art frame. Talking about the apps. Its accesible on the homepage and super easy to slide through the options. If you are lazy like me you can order food on the TV too( Thuisbezorgd) on a voice command. I was surprised to see tons of shows on netflix in HD premium format. This is my first Samsung TV and I am really happy with my choice. Worth the money if you are a person who like to invest in quality good eletronics ! . My Highlights is the User friendliness, Worth for money , Getting rid of Clutter . A true new age TV ;)
Met tevredenheid kijken wij nu 2 weken naar onze nieuwe televisie. Het beeld is helder en de kleuren zijn erg helder. Alleen in de avond vinden wij de televisie te helder en passen dan de helderheid aan. De afstandbediening is compact en is programmeerbaar voor meerdere apparaten. Het installeren was makkelijk en overzichtelijk door het makkelijke menu. De televisie is voorzien van 1 kabel en deze loopt naar een box waarop de aansluitingen zitten. Onze televisie hebben wij niet op de muur bevestigd maar op de standaard die bij de televisie is geleverd. De standaard ziet er mooi uit. Het enige wat mist is een hoofdtelefoonaansluiting. Kortom wij zijn zeer tevreden en raden deze televisie aan.
I've had the new Samsung Q7 (65 inch) for a week now, and these are some of my first impressions. The picture of the Samsung Q7 is nothing short of stunning. It's unbelievable. This is our first 4K television and we're blown away by the picture quality. The bezel on this tv is almost invisible. And the new ambient mode is beautiful. You can use some of the inbuilt pictures, or upload your own pictures to show on the tv when it is turned off while using minimal power. So when the tv hangs on the wall it almost looks like a floating picture when in ambient mode. The user interface is easily the best one can find in a television. It's very easy to setup, in less than 3 minutes after unboxing I was able to start watching cable tv. The remote has 10 buttons, and I can do almost everything with these 10 buttons. That's how well thought out the entire TV experience is. The voice recognition on the remote is extremely good. And the apps are amazing as well. For example, it remembers where I last stopped watching Netflix, so I can directly start watching this from the main menu of the TV without having to launch the app all over again. Some of the apps do not support voice recognition as yet, but once it does then it will eliminate the necessity to type in something. The one connect box of the new 2018 model has now the power connection for the television on it as well, so no separate power cable is required for the tv. So all it needs is the one cable, and all the wire clutter is taken away from the tv. I have also been able to use Echo Dot with Samsung Smartthings on the tv, so now I can use Alexa to turn off and turn on my TV. The only drawback that I've encountered as yet is that Samsung live view app is not yet available for this television. So I am unable to mirror my phone directly on the tv as yet. Samsung customer care assured me that a new app is in the works, so I won't have to worry about this in the near future.
