I bought this light because I was looking for good lights to film/shoot with but had a budget. I am very satisfied with this. The lamp is LED and works on batteries, which makes it compact. On the back of there is an LED screen that indicates what strength your lamp gives and at what temperature it is set - this ensures that you can work quickly and easily reset certain lighting (this is more difficult with, for example, a rotary knob) . There is also a separate on and off button so that you can switch off your lamp when you don't need it, to save battery, without losing the settings of your lamp. The lamp can also be tilted forward - this allows you to easily provide a light from above using a tripod without the need for a tripod with an arm. The light can also be attached to both a camera and a tripod.
The lamp can be set very bright, but cannot be dimmed completely (but will go fairly weak in terms of strength). But of course you can dim the light a bit more with the help of gels.
The lamp comes with a bag that fits both the battery and the lamp itself (tip: I keep the mousse to put between my lamp and battery when using this bag, and turn my lamp with the LED screen away from the battery so that it cannot be damaged while using the bag)
This lamp is highly recommended for both novice and advanced or professional filmmakers (and even photographers in lieu of a flash) because it is not difficult to control but has a wide spectrum of possibilities.
(I bought this lamp through second chance: the photos with minor damage corresponded perfectly to what I got).
