Accessibility statement
We want to make our website and app accessible to everyone and meet level AA of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. We think it's important that our websites and apps are usable for all users, including people with a disability. In this accessibility statement, you can read where we are now and what we're doing to improve accessibility.
What have we already done?
We've taken a few measures to ensure digital accessibility, such as:
- regularly testing our website based on the accessibility criteria;
- incorporating accessibility from the design and development process;
- and training our employees on accessibility requirements.
Accessibility
At Coolblue, we want to be 'a little bit better every day'. Recent testing of our most important user flows shows that we partially comply with the guidelines at this time.
- Many parts of our website are well-accessible with a keyboard and screen readers..
- There are still areas for improvement in the accessibility of the customer journey. This mainly concerns:
- navigating the entire customer journey using a keyboard (skip links) and/or screen reader;
- alternative texts for images and other interactive components;
- and using alternatives for images and videos.
