The battle of Aloy
Aloy, the main character in Horizon Zero Down, returns in this game. When the story takes a disastrous turn, you stands up to save her tribe. Aloy's status as 'Nora Brave', an honorable member of the tribe, proves useful for this. At critical moments, the fearlessness of Aloy makes the difference between life and death. The trailer even shows how you ride a velociraptor while you hunt enemies.

Iconic locations
Your adventure starts on the west coast of future America. You won't find any riches here, just a trail of destruction. A mysterious plague terrorizes the entire shoreline. The city of San Francisco is abandoned. While you explore places like Yosemite Valley and the surrounding mountains, you discover more and more about the terrifying machines that destroy the landscape. For the first time in Horizon history, you'll even search for answers in the underwater world.

Fantastical creatures
Aloy is a hunter. You learn how to use the bow and arrow and upgrade your items to your advantage. For example, a holographic parachute or an oxygen tank that allows you to explore bodies of water and caves. You use your bow against android dinosaurs, birds, and enemy tribes. During confrontations, you usually fight 1-on-1. Melee battles take up your entire screen, which ensures a realistic gaming experience. Do you play with a PS4 or PS5 controller? Thanks to the haptic feedback, you'll experience the game even more intensely.

It's not often a new PlayStation exclusive is announced. The Horizon series is especially suitable because of the detailed forested environment.
