Step 1. Choos the watch case size

The right size watch case depends on your taste and preferences. The Watch SE (2025) has a small 40mm case and a large 44mm case. The cases of the Watch Series 11 are a bit larger, 42 and 46mm. Want an extra large watch case? Choose the Watch Ultra 3 49mm. Not sure about the size? Visit the store and try out the various watch case sizes. That way, you can be sure your Apple Watch fits well.

Step 2. Measure your wrist

You receive 1 included watch strap, so make sure you choose the right size watch strap with your Apple Watch. To do so, you measure your wrist circumference.

  • Wrap a tape measure around your wrist just above your wrist bone. This is the bump you feel on your wrist.
  • Don't have a tape measure? Wrap a piece of string around your wrist and mark it where the string wraps all the way around. Now you can use a ruler to measure the distance from the end of the string to the marking.

Step 3. Choose your Apple Watch strap

Now you know your wrist circumference, you can choose which watch strap suits you best. With your Apple Watch SE, you can choose from a silicone Sport Band and a nylon Sport Loop. You get an extra option for your Watch Series 11, the stylish stainless steel Milanese Loop. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 has various watch straps. Choose an Ocean Band if you swim or dive often. With the thin Trail Loop, you can exercise comfortably. An Alpine Loop stays firmly in place during outdoor sports. Or choose the stylish Milanese Loop.
