Want to build your own AMC PC? Choose a motherboard with an AM5 socket. This 5th generation socket supports DDR5 and PCIe 5.0. That way, you can make a powerful and future-proof AMD desktop build. Make sure that you use an AMD Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series processor, otherwise your PC won't work. On this page, we'll explain what to keep in mind when you're building an AMD PC with an AM5 socket.

Build a gaming desktop
- Choose components. The basic components are a processor, motherboard, and RAM. In addition, you need a video card for graphics and a power supply (PSU). You can save all your games and your operating system on an SSD or hard drive. You place all your components in your case. Provide proper cooling and suitable components.
- Choose performance. The components that you choose determines the performance of your PC. Generally, the higher the number, the more powerful. For example, an AMD Ryzen 7 processor is faster than a Ryzen 5, and an RTX 5090 video card is more powerful than an RTX 4080 video card.
- Build PC. When everything is delivered, you can start building the PC. This seems difficult, but it's not if you take your time. We'll explain how to do it in the video.
