How do you choose a lawn mower?
Which lawn mower suits you best depends on the size of your lawn and the propulsion type. An electric lawn mower is less suitable for a large lawn as you need an extension cord. What's mulching?

Which mowing technique do you need?
Most lawn mowers are rotary mowers. You can use these lawn mowers for high grass and less smooth surfaces. You can roll reel mowers over the grass, so the blades cut it neatly. A hover mower looks like a rotary mower, but doesn't have wheels. The lawn mower hovers a bit above the ground, so it can easily turn around corners. What's a battery platform?
Cordless lawn mowers are often part of a battery platform. That means that you can use the battery of the lawn mower on other cordless (garden) tools from the same platform. How do you choose a battery platform?
Not all cordless lawn mowers from the same brand are part of the same battery platform. Some brands have multiple platforms, for 18V and 36V machines for example. Want to combine the battery of your cordless lawn mower with other (garden) tools? Make sure the voltage is the same.
