Scans go up to 600dpi which is fine for documents but I wouldn't use it to digitize a photo archive.
The scanner is easy to install. Once configured for the wifi network, Windows 10 found the scanner without issues.
There are many storage options (USB, email, network & cloud). You can even create contacts. It is remarkable that the scanner is set to 200dpi by default. Fortunately, this is easy to adjust and save. I use the scanner via wifi with storage to a network folder.
The unit is compact and can be placed on a 30cm deep bookshelf. The scanner will not survive a fall of 80cm but the build quality is fine. I expect the hardware to last longer than the scanner is recognized by Windows.
The only thing I miss is a physical button to switch between single-sided and double-sided scanner. This can only be done via the settings on the display. Still fine but for my use the only variable is whether I need to scan single or double sided and this feels like a missed opportunity.
