Great entry-level model for high-end IEM

A frequently heard cry is that a few tens is already a lot of money for 'simply a pair of ears'. Strangely enough, you hear that from people who are willing to pay a few hundred euros for an iPod (or high-end media player) or nowadays a smartphone. You see people walking around with iPods using the disastrous cheap white caps. unbelievable!

The chain is as weak as its weakest link. An expensive media player with cheap earplugs therefore has hardly any added value.

This Shure SE215 is a good entry-level model for a reasonable price (taking into account the above paragraph). You hear so much more! The music has so much more depth! There are 2 types of caps included in 3 sizes. Flexible caps and foam caps. The latter provide more insulation and a firmer 'fit' in your ear.

However, price isn't the only thing you have to get used to with IEM. These plugs go fairly deep into your ear canal. Deeper than, for example, the Sennheiser CX200. This is really something you have to get used to and get comfortable with. It is the first few days to frolic before they sit well.
