My device nowadays often went from 70% battery to completely flat in 1 minute. Then kept failing, restarting, shutting down, restarting,... Thought I was ready for a new device, but after some searching on the internet I read that the battery was probably past its prime and was probably bulging a bit too - and indeed it was.
