A really nice flash installation for a novice studio photography enthusiast. Smooth, what can I say VERY SMOOTH delivery, correctly on time and as a customer very well informed.

I don't use the set very much and only at home. For macro, still lifes, the occasional (moving) dog or some small children. The set is always set up in a corner, ready to use. I use it in combination with the Falcon Eyes Radio Trigger Set RF-DD4 2.4. This so that I don't have to connect cables to my camera and everything works fine wirelessly.
Cons: You slide the softbox with its opening over the front of the flash. Then you have to turn a screw so that the softbox connection becomes tighter and thus clamps itself around the flash. Only this must be tightened very tightly otherwise the softbox will simply fall off again. But that screw doesn't have enough room for you to grip it well all around. So you can only turn it with a small turn each time and applying force with your fingers in such a small space is very difficult. And you have to tighten it really tight otherwise the softbox will just fall off again. Even more difficult for large hands/fingers I think. So once you have the set and everything is properly attached it works fine, but if you have to pick up / pack / clean up the softbox every time to take it with you, it is not very practical and difficult I think.
In addition, I find the connection with which you attach the flash to the tripod a bit wobbly. There is a short round metal vertical pin on the tripod, over which you slide the square short connection of the lamp, which is much too wide, then you tighten a screw. Screwing a black flash with softbox to the side of a round short pin is not very sturdy.
And then you can tilt the flash itself, from top to bottom. This also happens with a screw. The flash with softbox is heavy so you have to tighten that screw very tight, otherwise the flash will just drop down. (That's why the long lever.) So you hold the flash/softbox at the height/angle that you want it, then you tighten the screw, you think it is tight enough, release the softbox and the whole thing then tilts just go back down. So tighten very well.
On top of the flash is a transparent ball, the light sensor. (On both strobes.) When one strobe fires, the other strobe sees this through that sensor and fires as well. But if it is too bright in the room, the 2nd flash will not see that the first has flashed and will not go off. Especially if you have the strobes facing each other. Then the softbox is in front of it. There is a small black cap around the light sensor that you can turn all the way around, to block the light from a window, for example, but this often doesn't work. The curtain then has to close or I place a piece of thick paper/cardboard around that sensor to block the light. That way the 2nd flash will go off.
Pros: For my enough light output, but I have no experience with many portraits of standing people, groups, etc. But for some macro, small dog and children, the set is fine.
No complicated functions, just a rotary knob for the brightness. It couldn't be easier.
I should start using it more often :-)
Not too expensive and fun for the hobby

Good set for a nice price if you can store it set up somewhere. Taking apart often doesn't seem right to me, quality maybe a bit too low for thin tripods and softbox folding frames. The light output is fine. Also for indoors.
