First some boring facts: -this six-core FX-6300 is on average 31.6% faster than a Core i3 3220. In multi-threaded benchmarks, differences of well over 50% are not uncommon. 6 versus 2 cores: you notice that. -Intel still makes the fastest processors in the world and AMD still doesn't come close. But for those who still want to work with a separate video card, AMD offers an excellent price / performance ratio with the new FX chips.
