According to our computer case expert
The Corsair Obsidian 450D Window is a computer housing that gives your system a look. The housing has a window in the side panel of the housing. The Midi Tower housing is suitable for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and has space for multiple video cards up to a length of 430 mm. Side panels, SSDs, expansion slots and optical drives are all tool-less to confirm. So you do not need tools to install these parts. The Corsair Obsidian 450D has 3 fans of 120 and 140 mm, but has room for no less than 8 fans with a maximum size of 140 mm. There is also room for 5 hard disks and 2 optical drives.

I'm coming from a Corsair Carbide 300r and it was starting to run a little too small for my system especially for water cooling purposes. I had been given an H100i in this case, but the bottom of it was sitting against the memory. With a view to expansion, I went for a larger case. The case had to have many options for water cooling, a window and good airflow. The Obsidian 750d also appealed to me, but the closed front was a downside for me and this case is more expensive. The NZXT H440 also appealed to me, but I read experiences with overheating in this case, so I went for the Obsidian 450d.
Packaging
The case was packed well, but the front was hanging loose in the box. This comes loose with a click system and during shipment it will have come loose. Fortunately nothing was damaged.
Appearance
I think the case looks very good and sleek. The perforated front may not appeal to everyone, but it certainly improves airflow. This front is equipped with a dust filter. As already mentioned, it comes loose via a click system. The front does come off very easily in my opinion and the system could have been a bit firmer. The top and bottom both have a magnetic dust filter. Every housing manufacturer should do this, because removing dust is much easier this way. I'm not a fan of the gray fans that come with it. The color doesn't match the front very well and I think black fans would have been better. The case comes standard with 2 x 140mm fans in the front and 1 x 120mm in the back. The front is made of brushed aluminum. This looks very good, but it is a magnet for fingerprints that are difficult to get off.
Interior
For a "normal" system with no more than 3 graphics cards and a motherboard of standard ATX size, the case is large enough on the inside. There is also room for radiators for water cooling: 240/280/360 mm above, 240 mm below, 120 mm at the rear and 240/280 mm at the front. The top radiator should not be too thick, otherwise it will touch the motherboard. If you want to install a radiator at the front, you have to remove the hard disk cage. This is done with 2 screws. SSDs can be installed behind the motherboard (2 pieces), so this is no problem for people with only SSDs. There's also plenty of room to hide cables, even with a non-modular power supply like mine.
Performance
The case keeps my system (with an overclocked AMD FX8320 and MSI GTX760) very cool. The fans are also quiet even at maximum speed and they move a lot of air. I don't have any problems with resonating parts or anything like that. The build quality is excellent. Soon I will be expanding my system with custom water cooling, but I don't think I will have any problems then.

i just bought it because it was kinda retro and new looking and got cd bays. kbmm was not my best but i didn't had much space because of the panel it self but i don't see it when the panel is on, inside kbmm was ok but the fan wires and the other wires i couldn't do that the wires were just to short for that

This case is very solidly built, despite the many cutouts for cable management. The large cutout on the back of the CPU makes it easy to install or replace a cooler without removing the motherboard from the case. In contrast to the solidity of the other elements, the tray of the hard disks is slightly less sturdy (this is to say something negative about this topper.) The supplied fans are very good and already provide very good cooling. I have hung an LED strip in it myself so that you can see the components well. In combination with the large window, this was a super decision. Another big plus is that all intakes are equipped with fan filters so that you do not get dust on your precious components. This is by far the most beautiful system I've ever built. Are you a PC enthusiast and would you like to have a good-looking system in addition to sufficient space? Then this case is ideal.
