I was looking for a holder for the iPhone 6 and 6S. I replaced the old Brodit 4s holder for this one. I have a grunt audio box in the car that I play music with on the car radio over the phone. It has a 30pin connector. I have now used a gradient from Apple 30pin to ligtning in this new holder. Unfortunately, the lightning plug does not fit in the holder. I drilled the hole and secured it with hot glue. This works perfectly. The phone is being charged and the music is playing over the speakers. Everything back to normal. I am happy with it 👍🏻
The holder also works/fits perfectly with the original Apple charging cord. Smart solution!
