Coleman Cook 6

The Coleman Cook 6 is an easy to set up tent. He stands with 20 minutes. We set it up without the extra compartment at the front of the tent so that we can put our stuff here. You can also easily lose a seat here in case it rains. The tent is spacious and because of the height you can also just stand in it, which is very nice if you are a bit taller.

Cons:

1. The two standard compartments (which are attached to each other) are actually too small for 2x 2 person air mattresses. We unzip it to create a larger compartment. But because of this it is no longer a 6 person tent. The other compartment is slightly larger (10cm wider) so it can just fit a double air mattress. Only your things no longer fit to the bed.

2. In addition, we are very sorry that the three large entrances do not have mosquito netting. This is really a missed opportunity. (this is just in the tent compartments)

3. The tent is quite heavy. So I would transport him by car.

Conclusion: For us it is a perfect tent where you can go on holiday without too much hassle and certainly enough space! We don't mind the negatives so much, you just have to take this into account when purchasing.

We bought the tent and set it up on a trial basis. Unfortunately, the quality was so disappointing that we packed the tent again and sent it back. The seams are vulnerable and the zipper is also very difficult without damaging it. The high entry through the high groundsheet (which also has advantages) is very impractical with small children, because children quickly get caught, the groundsheet will probably break quickly.

The tent is very spacious, even with both compartments in it, it is still possible to eat inside with a family, for example in bad weather. A free awning can be ordered through Coleman until this summer, which makes the tent a real bargain.
