Robens Voyager 2EX

The tent is easy to set up and is nicely spacious inside and enough space for your backpack

I bought this tent as a replacement for my Jack Wolfskin Taiga II RT which was in need of replacement after 15 years of intensive use. I deliberately chose the Robens because in type of tent and the materials used it was closest to my previous one, which I never had any problems with. However, the Robens goes one step further: it is lighter, more compact, more robust and cheaper. Used the tent for the first time in Scotland this year and effortlessly withstood every downpour dry. the sleeping area is more than sufficient for two people and you can easily store two large backpacks in the awning. The two openings in the awning provide ideal ventilation when the weather gets a bit drier. Small options such as being able to secure loose guy ropes, a clothesline in the inner tent,... are useful extra functions. Maybe just a bit too heavy for long walks, but ideal for a weekend on foot or a bit longer by bike.

The tent is quite compact and easy to use. The spacious awning is handy (seems to be ideal for letting backpacks stay overnight while trekking).
