I bought this sander to sand furniture, etc. Great sander for smaller surfaces. Good performance for such a light and handy machine. I wouldn't sand with it for hours on end, but that's not what I bought it for. Very good value for money. I can't comment on durability yet, I haven't had it long enough for that.
