The square steel profiles are of good thickness and quality, the clamping device is somewhat heavy but very solid. The carrier can be folded compactly and stored in the supplied carrying bag. Previous carriers I've had were made of thin material and sometimes wanted to turn on the towbar, causing damage. Great carrier, even with two bicycles.

All that metal is a bit heavier than I thought and attaching it also requires a lot of strength. If you are not strong in your arm or if you weigh too little (smaller people/children, for example), I can imagine that this cannot be confirmed. mind you, my tow bar and bike carrier are brand new, maybe it's still closing in a bit. The point where you have to apply force is the size of 1 hand and I had to put most of my weight on it. I can't measure it, but I estimate it needed about 30 kilos of pressure.

Do read the manual, there are a number of screws and locking pins that you really should use for the safety of yourself and especially that of others. There is enough tension strap to attach 2 bicycles, so you don't need the optional tension straps that can be purchased separately. I must admit they would be useful.

Furthermore, it takes a bit of insight and practice before it works quickly, but it all works. I was able to secure my bicycle very stable, so that it moved as a whole with my car (when I push it, I have not yet done driving)

Because I have a removable towbar, my power connection hangs a bit further back and downwards. Because the plug with this carrier contains both standards in 1 block of plastic, it is somewhat larger/longer. I don't know yet how it will do with thresholds.

I use this for my mountain bike. it doesn't fit to get the suspension arms through the central triangle of my frame. Fixing is successful and stable, but the bicycle does protrude a bit on 1 side of the car. it doesn't matter much with the exterior mirrors. I don't expect any problems with this though.
