I can honestly say that I am happy with the choice for this beamer or rather the total cinema/game package that is offered on this site. The image is sharp and clear. Great for connecting to your ps4 and playing movies via netflix. The image is also sufficient during the day to use the beamer.

Is the image as sharp as a new TV of this time? No, not that. The image is tight and sharp, but put a TV next to it and you will see a difference. Not surprising since you can project a 100-inch image for a reasonable price.

I am very pleased with the sound that the beamer makes, I think it hangs 1.5 meters above my head and I don't really hear it when I play a game or a movie.

I can't give an opinion on the speakers of the beamer because I connected it directly to separate speakers & amplifier.

In our new house we have banned the TV from the living room. The idea was to project onto a smooth plastered wall and then stick a Chromecast into our old (ceiling-mounted) beamer, from where the audio from the HDMI signal was wired to the HiFi set. My previous beamer, an ACER H7351D, was a great device, but unfortunately it broke irreparably after moving. Time for a new beamer because once you had one at home and as a film lover you don't want to go back to that "small" 50 inch screen or the expensive and sometimes uncomfortable movie experience in the cinema.

I also learned from my previous beamer that quality can also be found under 1000 euros and that is why my eye fell on this device.

The biggest difference with the ACER is the lower contrast ratio, ie 23000:1 instead of 50000:1, but I didn't notice anything after watching 2 days of intense film.

Thanks to the 3000 lumens, you can even work fine without a darkening watching television but with extra darkening the movie experience is still a lot more pleasant.

I took the 3D option as a nice extra and I didn't have great expectations. Until I tested it with AVATAR 3D..... With this beamer I learned to appreciate 3D viewing all over again. STOP watching 3D on a 50inch ; watch 3D as it should be ... with a beamer.

The 3D function requires an additional purchase of eg Celexon G1000 DLP 3D glasses. The glasses are very comfortable and the extra cost is not immediately to cry about.
