I've had the gear s3 Frontier for a week now and there are no real downsides except for a few small things. For example, the always on display is a nice addition, but unnecessary for me. The always on display will appear on the screen after a few seconds. If you wear a pullover or shirt with long sleeves, the aod makes no sense. You don't see the screen anyway. It just pulls your battery down. What is also disadvantageous about the AOD is that it is reasonably lit at night. I sleep with the watch because of a sleep analysis that is running and I still regularly wake up to the screen of the gear s3.

For the rest I have little to say. Very accurate pedometer, speedometer, heart rate monitor,....

WiFi on the gear s3 is unnecessary in my opinion. Wi-Fi works when your gear cannot connect via Bluetooth on your smartphone. I don't see the point in this. If you have WiFi at home, isn't your smartphone usually nearby? Aod off for the above reason. Nfc off because it is not yet possible to work with Samsung pay.
