What do you need to do?

Connect the device to your TV via an HDMI cable. The graphic chip and the Broadcom BCM2837 processor make the Pi 3 powerful enough to be able to convert it into a media player.
Connect the mouse and keyboard via USB* and place the SD card with the software you want to install, such as Kodi or PLEX.
Connect your media center to your hard drive via 1 of the 4 USB ports or wirelessly with the NAS, and stream videos in high resolution.

*The Raspberry Pi 3 has integrated Bluetooth. Unlike the WiFi antenna, this isn't automatically activated.
