Always been a big fan of JBL because of their good price/quality ratio and luckily this JBL Flip 4 doesn't change that. A very nice speaker, with very good bass sound for a good price in my opinion. At max volume, the bass is logically less, but the clarity of the sound remains very strong! The speaker is indeed waterproof, according to testing in a container of water. While it's a handy feature, I personally won't be using it much. But of course it is reassuring that the speaker will continue to work through all kinds of weather. In terms of ease of use, it is still very easy. The speaker automatically pairs the last paired device via Bluetooth, making "plug and play" very smooth. The bluetooth range has also been greatly improved compared to the Flip 3. I can now easily move to another room with my phone, without the signal being disturbed or interrupted.

A feature that I should have added to the speaker is NFC, which automatically pairs the speaker with a device that comes close. What I also found useful was that the speaker could have acted as a power bank, as you can already see with some other speakers. But those are more luxurious features, which you also pay for.
