According to our mouse expert
If you want to make use of a bunch of extra functions and macros, then the Speedlink OMNIVI Core mouse is perfect for you. This mouse has 4 thumb buttons and 2 extra buttons next to the left hand mouse button. The programmable macros make this mouse very suitable for games such as League of Legends, in which fast combinations of skills and items make a difference. The underside of the mouse is aluminum, keeping it firmly on your mousemat and protecting it from any impacts. Choose from 7 different colored lights for your personal style. The scrollwheel lights up separately, meaning you know exactly which set of macros you have at your fingertips.

I bought this mouse because it seemed ideal to me at first. I was looking for an ergonomic mouse with a pinky rest.
It's definitely not a bad mouse, a good one in fact. Unfortunately, it is not comfortable in my hand and that is essential. The red material on the top of the mouse is of good quality, the black material on the side is too smooth, just like that pinky rest which is made of coated (for the rest bare) aluminum and therefore has no grip. In addition, there is no rest for your ring finger, so it is half on your little finger. The mouse felt smooth overall.
The left and right mouse buttons are 'dented' in shape which looks cool but for me it led to my fingers being placed on them (if I gripped the mouse well) instead of in them. When I moved my hand backwards from the mouse, my fingers fell in nicely, but I didn't hold the mouse properly. I don't have big hands by the way.

I used it for a while but had to send it back since the mouse wheel did not work. the software included didn't really work that great and you can only pick between rainbow lights or no lights.

The mouse feels pretty good in the hand, but the pinky platform on the right is made of aluminum and is very annoying if you have sweaty hands. fingers slip off quickly.
