This is my 2nd review on this product. Last time I wrote that I found the reservoir too small and that I solved that problem by using the device in the shower. (Always hot water to hand). However, after 4 months the device still broke. Fault in the switch on top, in combination with on/off button. The cause is obvious. I don't think it is/wasn't wise to top up the device under a 'spray head'. Refilling from a cup should not cause any problems.
Durability can therefore still be improved a bit. Water should never be a technical problem for this appliance. Another weak point seems to me to be the lid of the water reservoir. Haven't had a problem with it yet, but I'm being very careful.
Incidentally, the device was neatly replaced by Philips for a new one within the warranty period.
The most important thing that counts, of course, is the cleaning result. Excellent ! I don't care at all about the color of the device.
