With the Yamaha RX-V683, you'll enjoy realistic sound reproduction. This receiver features integrated Dolby Atmos technology. This means that in combination with a set of Dolby Atmos speakers, sound isn't just reflected off the walls, but also off the ceiling. This makes it seem as if effects are being sent to your listening position from all directions. If you prefer listening to music, you can use Bluetooth, WiFi, or AirPlay to stream music from a smartphone or computer to the receiver. You can effortlessly integrate the receiver into the MusicCast multi-room system, which allows you to stream music to all the rooms in your home. There's a phono input at the back of the receiver, so you won't need a pre-amplifier to connect a record player.
