When a flashlight is needed, I want a lot of light. This lamp is super bright for its size. He feels like I can throw him against a concrete wall without worry. The ease of choosing all the light modes and the light intensity prevent me from doing so. It is one of the more expensive lamps and still well worth the money.

I usually use my flashlight at flea markets where I need a good hotspot and preferably a reasonable range. Too much spread and I shine too much in the eyes of bystanders. After a few years, my Ledlenser p7.2 broke down due to a leaking battery. I had been looking for a suitable replacement for a long time. My only reference was the Ledlenser p7.2, and the Olight s80 baton. The alluring thing was certainly the magnetic USB tailcap, design and the 1500 lumens that this lamp can produce. Which is why I ordered this. I immediately tested this lamp together with an olight s80 (an older model, but highly recommended btw).
It was immediately clear that this lamp was not my thing. The hotspot is actually non-existent! There is quite a spread, though. But the scope is actually really below par in my opinion. Also, the pure 1500 lumens is only available in a certain mode, so you have to press the rear button halfway for 1500 lumens, but fully press for the strobo. In fact, you can only get the max lumen by constantly holding the button halfway down. Not really practical. Due to the weak hotspot, you don't really have much added value from all those 1500 lumens, because a lot goes into the spread. Which is decent anyway. Which made me shine a lot in the eyes of people in practice.
The functions, finish, size and everything else were great!! But the lamp must above all have a good light beam. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. It hurt me to send it back, but when I tried the Ledlenser mt14 after trade-in, I was immediately sold!
