I don't change profiles quickly, the more sensitive the mouse the better for me, but I would have liked to use this key as a free key to program commands on. The DPI buttons are a welcome addition to adjust the speed of the cursor on-the-fly. The buttons do not get in the way of accidental touch. You can switch between 800 and 16000 DPI, great for snipers or close combat players.
In addition, you are almost obliged to install the Razor Synapse software. Without it, the mouse works fine, but then you can't adjust DPI settings and program the LEDs. Synapse requires an account, so if you're privacy minded, keep this in mind.
The best part is that the "charging" is done via the mouse pad. The mouse has a very small battery, which means that it can be lifted for about 30 seconds and used out of reach of the mat. If you want to use it without a mat, you can simply connect it via micro-USB and wired mice. Nice implementation of the wireless charging technique, but an expensive one.
