Great for whipped cream and pancakes, no more than that.

Nice compact device, but not recommended for mixing anything thicker than pancake batter such as oliebollen batter. The dough hooks pull the batter up directly into the mixer within 2 seconds. Pulled my old mixer out of the wheelie bin again and it did its job nicely without pulling up the batter. In addition, it makes quite a lot of noise and the cord is on the short side, which means that you are less flexible with regard to workspace at the counter. The design of the dough hooks and the beaters leaves a little to be desired, whipping cream with this mixer takes 2x as long as with my old mixer, but just as tasty so if you want to whip your pancakes and whipped cream for little money, and does not make too many demands on cooking, this is your mixer.
