This iPad Air 3rd generation is perfect for the power user on a budget. I had a 5 year old iPad Air 2 before this and finally upgraded. I ordered my iPad with a Smart Keyboard (make sure you order the right one) and an Apple Pencil and I can highly recommend these products in combination with this iPad.
With this great tablet you get many features for which you normally have to pay an iPad Pro price. The smart connector is great when using an Apple Smart Keyboard. Typing on the iPad has never been so much fun for me.
Using the Apple Pencil is absolutely great but only works with the first generation Pencil. I would have liked it if the iPad would work with the second-generation Pencil, but that's just a small detail.
The True Tone display with P3 inspection display is also a great asset. Unfortunately no Pro Motion display, but everything still looks very smooth and fast. The Apple Pencil does have a response time of 40ms instead of 20ms, but that 40ms is low enough to be able to write and draw perfectly. The 10.5 display gives just a little extra space. This little extra space has quite a big effect and it feels much nicer to look at.
The fast A12 chip can handle all the latest apps and games and works perfectly. Editing photos and videos is fine, but will of course be slightly slower than with the iPad Pro with the A12X chip.
