As an experienced handyman I have been using a Bosch cordless drill for years and I seized this opportunity with both hands to test one. And what kind, the Bosch Advanced Drill with a 2.5 Ampere 18 volt battery. From the case you immediately feel that the device is a lot more solid than my old 18-volt Bosch cordless drill, the Bosch PSR 18 LI from 2015. And I was very happy with that at the time. I have been working with Bosch equipment as a DIY junkie for over 20 years and never a Bosch tool has let me down. And I think that's very special. CONCLUSION: This is a professional cordless drill, it feels professional and it works professionally. Not really a hobby device anymore, but the price is still there. It surpasses my old drills in both power and ease of use. A big advantage is that the battery is still the same and fits on the old chargers and on the old battery drills and so you can continue to use your old batteries as a backup if the new ones ever run out during a job. Another big advantage is the extra drill head to be able to screw and drill even in small corners. The device works seamlessly by feel and you don't even have to think about it. I can think of only 1 downside and that is that the forward and reverse gear could have been a bit smarter by placing the corresponding lights on the sides instead of on top so that you can always see at least one.
