Although I only ordered it because it was the only decent eGPU that could be delivered without difficulty during the Corona crisis, I immediately fell in love with this eGPU, which comes in a sleekly designed, largely metal housing. It is certainly not for everyone considering the price, but definitely recommended if you really want to get the most out of your laptop!
When I get home, I transform my laptop into a comfortable gaming setup with natural gigabit internet with one cable. Water coolers also use fans, they certainly do cooling, but it is not very quiet. I would definitely recommend a matching headset.
This absolute monster is also very suitable for experimenting with deep learning and coincidentally also fits perfectly with the Oculus Quest VR headset thanks to the (to my surprise) VirtualLink connection! Not a bad idea if you are fond of technology, but have not been able to convince your boss that you need a video card in your laptop.
