What a beautiful kettle. It is extremely aesthetic due to the combination of glass and stainless steel. It looks great in the kitchen and I want to immediately replace all my other appliances in the same style. There are several functions on it; which I used the kettle the most. There are many different positions with which you can adjust the temperature. The water boils very quickly, much faster than my previous kettles and completely silent. I personally think the blue light when you turn it on is a shame. This makes it look very technical and suddenly fits perfectly at home in a man-cave, full of LED lighting. Personally, I would have chosen a very soft natural color for this. Because it is glass, I often have to clean it because it looks 'dirty' very quickly.
I was a bit skeptical about the tea function. I am a huge tea fan and previously only concerned myself with how long I strain my leaves in the boiling water, instead of the temperature. Now that I adjust the temperature for each type of tea, the tea tastes much, much better. As if there is much more flavor to it and at the same time it is much softer.
It is a hassle with the tea strainer on, off, because it is attached to the lid.
We also tried the Yogurt and it works great. Supplementing some Yogurt and the rest with milk makes a full bowl of Yogurt after 12 hours. Nice and creamy! Aubin Marie can also be heated with this device and is much easier than with a pan. No mess.
