Very suitable for light therapy. Lamp does what it promises in contrast to the cheaper lamps.

Very happy with this lamp! I keep my seasonal depression away with it and I have much more energy during the day. I also sleep much better. The only inconvenient thing is the touch button: I would have preferred a physical button, because now you 'tap' and sometimes the lamp responds and other times not

Since I've been using this lamp for a bit longer (> 2 weeks), I sleep a bit better and I lie awake for less time when I wake up during the night. In addition, the light takes the sharp edges off my gloom. Not that I am suddenly the cheerfulness in the house, but the gloom is more manageable and that is very nice. Unfortunately I don't notice a significant difference in energy (yet).

The first week I set the lamp neatly at 15 cm and set a timer of 30 minutes. I found it awkward, the lamp was in the way and it made me a bit impatient. Now I put it a little further away so that it is not in the way and I use it in the morning as a kind of desk lamp. This way I get enough time for a positive effect with a somewhat greater distance and I am not so busy with the lamp.

The lamp itself is solidly built: solid housing with an easy-to-find on/off button and a sturdy base. For me, that was the reason for choosing this lamp over cheaper options.

The light is a bit more yellow than I expected. The description says 'cool white light', so I expected a shade a little more to blue light (and hoped for a noticeable effect on my energy). This shade makes it pleasant on your eyes.
