HTC Wireless Adapter Full Pack

This kit contains everything to make your HTC Cosmos or HTC Vive Pro wireless. It also works for the standard HTC Vive, but then you need a separate, small 3-in-1 cable, which is almost impossible to find. This cable must run from the glasses to the adapter, which you place on your head. I tested the HTC Vive with the long 3-in-1 cable to confirm that the kit also works on the standard HTC Vive, and it did. Order the short cable now to be able to use the glasses completely wirelessly.

From your computer comes a sensor with a cable of approximately 1.5 m, which makes contact with the headset. There should be no obstacles between the sensor and headset, otherwise the wireless connection will not work properly.

This is a good product for making your Vive Pro wireless. You hardly feel the adapter because of its light weight. The mounting is a bit on the difficult side because of the PCIe card you have to put in your computer. The mounting plate with which the camera is placed on the screen is also a bit too strong, so the camera sometimes slides upwards. The biggest problem for me is the included portable battery, which takes 3X longer to charge than it has capacity to play (2h play is almost 6h charge). As an additional additional factor, the vive headset only works with this battery, so a larger capacity is not an option.

I use the VR glasses for sim racing. At first, 'hang' on the chair with the cable. Now with wireless that is gone. First check whether you have a free PCI port on your PC. Installation is simple and fast. Because the receiver is on your head, you feel it move a bit more. Haven't tested it yet with VR games where you have to walk and move like Half-Life and Medal of Honor.
