Description
With the Philips Hue Wireless Dimmer, you can control up to 10 smart lights without using your smartphone or tablet. The dimmer works on batteries. You can stick the wall plate to the wall or attach it with screws if it replaces an old switch. This model has a wider wall plate, so it's easier to place it over the switch. Do you want to control your lighting from your lazy chair? You can take the dimmer off the wall plate and use it as a remote. That way, you don't need a charged smart device within reach to dim the lights.

The new dimmer switch has one major drawback: The steps to dim have become larger. In short, you could dim the previous one in very small steps. That's exactly what a dimmer is for; -) Accurate dimming with the new dimmer is therefore no longer possible, incomprehensible (also checked with Philips Hue), very unfortunate missed opportunity, returned because of this.
