Peace. A fantastic survival game, IF it does what it's supposed to do. It is a condensed version of the PC version.
There are quite a few problems with this for the console edition.
What is normally a (pretty) good survival game on PC, this is on a console to cry on.
This is because there are millions of maps to play on the PC, whereas on the console there are only 2 maps to play.
Because of this you will quickly realize that there are players who know the map so well that they have a head start on "Good/Tactical" spots every month. Normally the layout of the map changes and therefore also the tactics.
Just outside this small point, you can still have a lot of fun in Rust. IF THE GAME DOES IT.
I've had the console edition for 2 days now, with the game crashing about 1x per hour. Then it takes another fifteen minutes to get the game up and running (can't find servers, etc).
If you have just spent hours collecting difficult items to throw them in the recycler and the game then freezes? Too bad! Lost everything.
In the meantime I am so frustrated with the errors, latency and many more bugs that I have put the game up for sale again in order to see something of my 60 euros back.
In this condition the game is certainly not worth 60 euros, at most 5 to 10 euros. I hope FacePunch Studios will address this issue…
