The Optoma L1 has a throw ratio of 0.25:1, which means that you place the projector at 0.25m distance of the screen to get a 1m wide projection. For a 2m wide projection, you should double the distance to 0.5m. That's why you should check where you want to place the projector first, and see if there's enough room.
