Very nice TV for the money

Smooth image thanks to 144Hz and VRR
300x300 VESA, so compatible with many TV brackets

Google TV wants (too) badly to access the internet

Nice TV, especially for the money; see plus/minus points. My partner noticed that everything runs super smoothly when playing games, thanks to the VRR functionality. Display is perfect. The smart part and the menus run smoothly, without any hitches. I also saw options to combine the TV speakers with Bluetooth speakers. I haven't tried that further.

All inputs go through our receiver, so for us a TV only needs to provide a picture and not access the internet. Unfortunately, Google TV doesn't agree with this, and every time you turn on the TV it reminds you that it doesn't have internet. And rightly so, since privacy-sensitive functionalities such as the microphone are enabled from the factory and are also shared with all pre-installed, questionable apps. But take this with a grain of salt, as an IT professional I am very critical of smart equipment that wants to access the internet for every fart.
