My neighbor owns the DLM382 and after borrowing this machine once, I was completely blown away! The convenience of cordless mowing is really great and saves you a lot of stress from curling up, trailing and snagging cables! The 382 is just a bit too bulky for me for a garden where plants also grow. It is then just too heavy and too wide, but super good for the somewhat larger garden! This DLM330 is nice and light-footed and much more manoeuvrable compared to the 382, but heavy enough not to bump and wobble like smaller and cheaper 'plastic' mowers sometimes do. You just feel that this gives you more quality. It is a silent machine that works neatly (good extraction) and does what it is supposed to do, mow nicely! Yes, the collection tray is a bit small, but that only benefits the ease of handling. With 1 battery of 5 amps I mow my 130 m2 lawn with ease and the speed of 4000 rpm is almost a joy to hear.
Mulching is great, but just like with other machines, do it in small amounts. First mow once and then 1 position lower to mulch. If you don't do this, you will make it really difficult for any battery-powered machine!
If I, as a typical Dutchman, have to mention one point that could be improved (and that is honestly true), then it is the wheels. For me as a trained mower these are lighter and a bit too loose compared to the DLM382. Those of the DLM382 have bearings, have a softer type of rubber tread and those of this DLM330 are made of harder plastic. What does it matter? Not so much during mowing, but with heavier wheels it would be even better in terms of 'road holding' so to speak. Walking on the pavement it really makes noise of cheap plastic! You don't have that with the luxuriously heavier wheels of the 382, while the 330 is more expensive but smaller.
Little tip! Sharpen the blade once for the first mowing, but that goes for all mowers. They are really not sharp from the factory.
