The eufy Omni E28 is a comprehensive robot vacuum cleaner. During my test, the high suction power, smart mopping function and smart navigation were particularly striking. In addition, the cleaning station takes care of almost all maintenance. What makes this robot truly unique is the portable stain cleaner. You can also use it to thoroughly clean furniture and carpets.
Portable stain cleaner
The unique feature of this robot vacuum cleaner is the portable stain cleaner in the base station. For example, I used this cleaner during my test on a fabric chair and a rug. With the stain cleaner, it was neatly cleaned again. So I can easily remove grease stains and dirt residues from textiles. So you can not only clean floors with this device, but also upholstered furniture and carpets. This is useful in a busy household, because you use one device for multiple jobs. However, the stain cleaner is quite large in size, because you remove the entire water tank from the station.
Thorough cleaning with smart technology
The robot has a suction power of 20,000 Pascal. With this, it easily sucks up dirt from hard floors and low-pile carpet. During the cleaning round, I see that the extendable side brush also picks up dirt along skirting boards and in corners. Animal hair does not get stuck thanks to the anti-tangle brush. So I do not have to use scissors. That saves time in maintenance. The camera recognizes stains and lets the robot scrub extra with the wet brush roll.
Smart base station takes care of the maintenance
I see the robot drive back to the cleaning station by itself when its cleaning round is done. Here, the robot empties its dust container after each cleaning. Then it washes and dries the mop with hot air, fills up with clean water, drains dirty water and adds cleaning agent. I only have to refill or empty the station occasionally. So the device really works independently, which saves me a lot of time and effort.
Navigation with an eye for obstacles
The E28 recognizes obstacles such as shoes and cords with its camera and sensors. It drives smoothly around it and completes the route, even when you are not at home, so I am not worried about the robot getting stuck somewhere.
