The HW-QS700F is Samsung's mid-range soundbar for 2025. This 3.1.2 soundbar has good sound quality with True Dolby Atmos support. This way I enjoy spacious, deep sound. Thanks to the built-in gyroscope, the soundbar automatically recognizes how you place it and adjusts the sound accordingly. Like other Samsung soundbars, the HW-QS700F supports Q-Symphony. This allows you to use the speakers of your Samsung TV and soundbar at the same time.
Sound quality
The Samsung HW-QS700F is a 3.1.2 soundbar. This allows me to enjoy 3 separate sound channels, a separate subwoofer and 2 upward-facing speakers. The sound sounds spacious and spreads naturally through the room thanks to the Dolby Atmos technology. I can hear the action of a film or series around me, but less strongly than with rear speakers. What makes the HW-QS700F special is the built-in gyroscope. When I tilt the soundbar, the built-in speakers adjust accordingly. Upward-facing speakers then face forward. I find the sound quality slightly better when I don't tilt the soundbar, but the difference is small.
Q-Symphony
Thanks to the Q-Symphony technology, the speakers of a Samsung TV work together with those of the HW-QS700F. Normally, TV speakers switch off when you connect a soundbar. I notice the effect of Q-Symphony when I switch this technology on and off. With Q-Symphony, voices and other higher tones are clearer. This is nice when I watch an action film, when the bass tones are stronger. With Q-Symphony, the sound is more balanced.
Design
The HW-QS700F is 116 centimeters wide and fits well under TVs of 55 inches or larger. With a smaller TV, the soundbar is wider than the screen, which I don't like. The built-in gyroscope allows you to place the soundbar in 2 different ways. In both setups I think the soundbar looks sleek and modern.
