The first robot broke down after more than 6 years of loyal service. The new one is really much better; the room scanning is truly top-notch and the app controls work well. I only use it in the bedroom (quite large with an intricate shape), and it is more than enough. It performs fantastically; the room is scanned and cleaned neatly. Really impressive. It does struggle with the bath mat (not thick, but doesn't stick enough); it gets stuck in it too often. The robot is just slightly taller than the previous one (total height incl. lidar) and (just) doesn't fit under the bed anymore… I still need to test it with risers. The mop function seems useless to me, but I didn't buy it for that.

(PS: the “loud” suction sound from the docking station lasts at most 5 seconds… vacuum cleaner sound, nothing special)
