How do you turn off the tune of your Samsung washing machine?
Your Samsung washing machine plays a tune when it's done at the end of the cycle. When you hear this melody, you know your laundry is clean. Maybe your hear this end of cycle signal too often, and you want to turn of the Samsung tune of your washing machine. You can read how to do that here.
Turn off Samsung washing machine tune
With a new washing machine with a narrow display, you can turn off the tune like this:
- Press the index finger with the plus icon for 3 seconds.
- Turn the dial to choose 'Alarm' and tap the circle (O).
- Choose 'Off' to turn off the tune.
Note: it's sadly not possible to turn off all beeps. This only turns off the end of cycle melody.
LED display: press 'rinse' and 'spin'
With a Samsung washing machine with a larger LED display, you can press the buttons 'rinse' and 'spin' at the same time. Hold them for 5 seconds and let go. The display will show the symbol of a speaker with a strike through it. Do you want to turn on the Samsung tune again? Press and hold 'rinse' and 'spin' for 5 seconds.
LCD display: use the up arrow keys
If you have an LCD display, press one of the arrow keys that point upwards to the right of the screen. When you reach 'sound', press 'OK'. In the upper right of the screen, you see a speaker with a strike through it. If you want to turn the tune on again, follow the same steps.
