Image quality

QN900A: bright and razor-sharp images

QN900A: bright and razor-sharp images

The QN900A displays razor-sharp images thanks to its 8K resolution. Even though not much is available in 8K yet, 4K images still look sharper thanks to the powerful processor. This improves images with a lower resolution than 8K. In addition, the QN900A has a peak brightness of 4000 nits. As a result, the light parts on the screen are very bright. That way, you can easily watch television during the day without being bothered by reflections on your screen.

QN800A: razor-sharp 8K images

QN800A: razor-sharp 8K images

The QN800A is also an 8K television that benefits from the smart Neo AI Quantum 8K processor. All images look razor-sharp, even from sources with a less good image quality. The QN800A has a lower peak brightness than the QN900A. This television with 2000 nits is suitable for watching TV in a brightly lit room or during the day.

QN95A: high-contrast 4K images

QN95A: high-contrast 4K images

The QN95A is a 4K TV. Because of this, you can't watch images with 8K resolution on it. You barely notice this difference though. Even 4K images look sharp and most details are clearly visible. This TV has a peak brightness of 2000 nits, just like the QN800A. That's why the contrast is so high. There's a big difference between the darker and lighter parts of the image. That way, an exciting dark movie is displayed realistically.

Design

QN900A: almost no bezel

QN900A: almost no bezel

Thanks to the Infinity Screen, the QN900A barely has a bezel. This makes the TV look minimalistic and modern. Thanks to the Slim One Connect Box, only one cable is connected to the screen. You can find all the other connectors, like HDMI and USB, on this box. The Slim One Connect Box fits on the back of the stand of the TV. That way, your setup looks neat and you don't see cables under the screen.

QN800A: One Connect Box on stand

QN800A: One Connect Box on stand

In terms of design, the QN800A doesn't differ much from the QN900A. The screen, which stands on one sturdy stand, barely has bezels thanks to the Infinity Design. With the QN800A, you also benefit from the Attachable Slim One Connect Box, which you can easily click onto the back of the stand. The One Connect Box has a different appearance than the previous versions. The box is thinner and has a matte finish.

QN95A: separate One Connect Box

QN95A: separate One Connect Box

The Smart One Connect Box of the QN95A doesn't fit onto the back of the stand. So you'll place this One Connect Box separately from your television. The QN95A doesn't have the Infinity Design. That's why the bezels are slightly thicker than with the QN900A and the QN800A. The QN95A stands on a sturdy steel stand and the screen is very thin, just like with the other 2 televisions.

Sound

QN900A: Object Tracking Sound Pro

QN900A: Object Tracking Sound Pro

With the QN900A, you're ensured of a rich and powerful sound thanks to the 10 speakers. These speakers are distributed over the back and sides of the screen. Thanks to Object Tracking Sound Pro, the sound follows the movement on the screen. For example, when a plane flies from left to right on the screen, you'll also hear the sound go from left to right. That way, your favorite movie or series sound even more exciting.

QN800A: Object Tracking Sound +

QN800A: Object Tracking Sound +

The QN800A has 8 speakers. Even though this is 2 less than the QN900A, this speaker setup also ensures a powerful sound. The bass is very present thanks to the 2 subwoofers, which makes the explosion in an action movie sound even more realistically. The QN800A offers Object Tracking Sound + instead of Pro, because of the fewer speakers. The effect is the same. Thanks to this technique, the sound follows the movement on the screen.

QN95A: Object Tracking Sound +

QN95A: Object Tracking Sound +

The QN95A has Object Tracking Sound + as well. With the same number of speakers as the QN800A, the sound sounds deep and rich. The 2 speakers at the top of the television produce an upward sound. As a result, it reflects to your listening position. It feels as if the sound comes from different angles and you can really immerse yourself in the exciting movie or in the stadium with a soccer game.

Conclusion

These televisions are especially suitable for real movie lovers. The high contrast of the Neo QLED and the high brightness ensure realistic images with your favorite movies and series. Do you want a complete movie theater experience? The QN900A offers the most with its 8K resolution, 4000 nits peak brightness, and 10 speakers. But the advantage over the the QN800A and QN95A is small. Each of these 3 televisions offers a complete watching experience.
