With an Apple Lightning cable, you can charge all kinds of Apple devices including the iPhone 14 or older models. Have an iPhone 15? You don't need a Lightning but a USB-C cable. Also check the charging port of your iPad. Older iPad models have a Lightning port, but more recent iPad models have a USB-C port. Make sure to check whether your charger has a rectangular USB-A or oval USB-C port as well and buy a cable that fits in it. Sturdy nylon or kevlar cables last longer than plastic cables.
