With a USB-C cable, you can charge your smartphone, tablet, or other device. You'll find oval USB-C port on most new Android smartphones, tablets, iPad, and other devices. Also check the charger you're using. Choose a USB-C cable if your charger has a USB-C port. Older chargers still have a rectangular USB-A port. With those chargers, use a USB-C to USB-A cable. Nylon or kevlar USB-C chargers are sturdier and last longer than plastic cables.
